Playing the role of a singing Salvation Army officer, Annikki Tähti revived her hit song in 2002 when she performed with an ‘iron wire’ guitar group Marko Haavisto & Poutahaukat in Aki Kaurismäki’s famous film The Man without a past (see the fulll text, pp. 57-first paragraph).
Following Rauno Lehtinen’s original arrangement, the producer and band leader Jaakko Salo recorded ‘Letkis’ in 1970 (see the full text, pp. 58-bottom & pp. 58-top).
Originally made famous by Georgie Fame and Mongo Santamaria, Laila Kinnunen’s version of jazzy ‘Yeh Yeh’ was shown in Finnish television in 1965 (see the full text, pp. 59-first paragraph/section 6).
